WOW! What a wonderful storm we have been enjoying - or NOT - if you are having to plow driveways, dig out buses, or shovel
a trail to the chickens! That's Steve! We have received at least 32 inches and probably more. These are our little fruit trees. We can't even see their trunks. Even some of the lower limbs are buried.
Since we have such a large metal roof, the snow slides down off several times a day. When it slides down, the rumble sounds like an earthquake! The first time it happened that winter we moved in, it was certainly frightening. Anyway, this shot was taken out of Avery's old bedroom window. I hardly need to close the blinds at night. You can see how the snow has piled up clear above the window!
This is a shot of our 4 foot faucet just south of our driveway. When I took this picture you could only see the top of the spiget. As I am typing this, we can't see the top!

We're glad we don't have to help shovel all that! R was very excited to see Papa's house on the television!
